Celebrity Events

Barwell and the celebrity world are inextricably linked. Over the years, under the guidance of ex- Arsenal and Republic of Ireland footballer Terry Mancini, Barwell has successfully organised a multitude of events incorporating stars and celebrities from the sporting and thespian world.

Our flagship event is The Footballers Golf Classic at La Manga Club, which celebrated its 10th anniversary in 2006 and attracts a quality field of ex-professional footballers to compete in a golf tournament with amateurs over 4 days at La Manga Club. The event is so successful that it has been televised on Sky Sports on several occasions and additional events are now regularly hosted in Dubai and more recently in Mauritius and South Africa.

Barwell also organises an annual overseas golf tournament for the Professional Rugby Association and over the years we have been proud to be associated with events for Porsche and Diners Club. We also receive requests from companies for after-dinner speakers or entertainment and we are more than happy to assist with these.
